Tattoo's:

Celtic chain, around her right arm. This was Melanie's first tattoo, meaning "allegiance to your tribe". Chinese or Japanese characters, also on her right arm. These are two Chinese or Japanese (I don't know) characters, meaning "Woman" and "Strength"... In other words GIRL POWER! Celtic cross, on her left arm. This tattoo should stand for protection. Tibetan writings, on both her wrists. These tattoos stand for "love" and "hapiness", the one meaning "love" on her right wrist. "Angel", below her belly button. Melanie's guiding angel.

Indian Phoenix, on her back. This very nice tattoo symbolizes a new beginning (when she went solo) and a feeling of independence for her. Lotus flower plus another Tibetan writing, at the base of her spine. I actually don't know where these two things stand for... I read somewhere that the writing means "grounded" and that the flower symbolizes "the earth"... So I guess that's what is is! Chinese dragon, on her right calf. Melanie: "It compliments the phoenix on my back, in Chinese tradition the phoenix represents the female and the dragon represents the male - because before I was a little out of balance."
